More dynamic safety inspections: The ‘Safety Inspections’ module incorporates the ‘Questionnaire Evaluation’ tab to facilitate the flow of the inspector’s visit and their interaction with the respondents.
Safety inspections are planned and systematic assessments of a workplace. They are essential for understanding the realities of workplaces, locations, and job positions, both physically and psychosocially. Their objective is to identify, report, and correct unsafe conditions, hazardous practices, and potential occupational hazards, ultimately aiming to achieve the best possible outcome at work: the well-being of employees. The natural evolution of these inspections is toward automated and customized methods.
These inspections are essential to ensuring a safe work environment that complies with all laws, regulations, and recommendations related to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). At Sabentis, several types of inspections can be carried out and distinguished:

All of these involve an on-site visit, visual inspection, recording of incidents and improvements, and questionnaire evaluation. It is advisable to complement them with a Preventive Safety Observations (PSO) process.

Sabentis ‘ update to the ‘ Safety inspections’ module enhances the user experience by providing a convenient ‘Questionnaire Evaluation’ tab. In this section, users can answer questions related to the inspection questionnaires and save their responses. The information contained in the answers can also be modified at any time during the process. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that each question and/or answer allows for the addition of images—of incidents, implemented measures, and so on.
Once each questionnaire is closed, the answers can no longer be edited or modified. When generating the report via the ‘ Generate Documents ‘ tab, it’s important to know that any images attached or uploaded to the questions will be included in the downloadable document. This facilitates monitoring and tracking using prevention software.
